The communal areas were exceptional! Loved the indoor/outdoor bar and the game-viewing vehicle was very comfy. Lucky, Raymond and Mavis were amazing

Some guests found the outdoor showering a tad chilly but I thought they were cool.

Magnificent lodge with views of the bush. The reserve is large with numerous water points and lots of open areas which allow you to better see the many animals. The house staff is very discreet, which allows you to really feel at home. The Ranger who accompanied us was super brilliant and very professional. To sum up, you can go there with your eyes closed.

I can really recommend this lodge without reservation. You are all alone in a small camp in the middle of the national park at a waterhole. There are 2 private safaris per day, which alone is worth more than the price of the overnight stay. On top of that, there are 2 employees who cater to your every wish. We would book again at any time.

We used the laundry service. This was immensely expensive and bears no relation to the performance. So I would advise against that. Unfortunately, there was no information about the price in advance, despite repeated requests.

This self-catering lodge is a real gem. Very well appointed and equipped with everything we needed. Game drives were excellent. The main building is spacious and airy. It includes an open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining area with a viewing deck overlooking the stream and a waterhole. Swimming pool and BBQ off to one side. The are three bedrooms in one block and two standalone bedrooms all with en suite bathrooms. Definitely the best self-catering lodge I have stayed at in this area.

One of the bedrooms is a loft room with a downstairs bathroom. Not a problem - but may not be ideal for older folks like us. Did not detract at all from our visit.
